— Giannis Loukinas: On 5 June, AKFC re-signed 32-year-striker Giannis Loukinas, who served as team captain last season. Loukinas joined AKFC in July 2022 and was the top scorer in Super League 2 in each of the last two seasons. Read more.
— Giorgos Manthatis: On 7 July, AKFC re-signed 27-year-old wing-back Giorgos Manthatis, who served as vice captain last season. Manthatis joined AKFC in January 2022 and has made 56 appearances for the club over the last three seasons, including 26 appearances with one goal and one assist during last season’s promotion campaign. — Nicolás Marotta: On 7 July, AKFC re-signed 27-year-old Argentinian center-back Nicolás Marotta, who joined AKFC in September 2023 and made 27 appearances in his debut season with the club, scoring two critical goals — a late winner in a derby with Kalamata in December and the promotion-clinching goal against Chania in May. — Triantafyllos Pasalidis: On 1 July, AKFC signed 27-year-old center-back Triantafyllos Pasalidis on a free transfer. Pasalidis spent the second half of the 2023/24 season in Serie A with Salernitana, where he made appearances against Inter, AC Milan, and Juventus, and previously made 138 appearances in the Greek Super League with OFI Crete and Asteras Tripolis. — Ioannis Gelios: On 1 July, AKFC signed 32-year-old Greek-German goalkeeper Ioannis Gelios on a free transfer. Gelios played in the second divisions of Germany and Turkey before arriving in Greece last winter and impressing at Ionikos over the second half of the 2023/24 season. Read more.
— Bernabé Barragán: On 1 July, AKFC signed 31-year-old Spanish goalkeeper Bernabé Barragán on a free transfer. Bernabé passed through Real Betis, Atlético Madrid, and Gimnàstic before arriving at Albacete, where he spent the last four seasons and served as team captain. Read more.
— Roberts Uldriķis: On 3 July, AKFC signed 26-year-old Latvia international striker Roberts Uldriķison a free transfer. Uldriķis, a 1.98-meter-tall center forward, is a regular starter for Latvia’s senior national team and has played in the Swiss Super League and Dutch Eredivisie over the last six seasons. He scored 15 goals in total for Dutch side Cambuur last season. Read more.
— Pyry Soiri: On 4 July, AKFC signed 29-year-old Finland international wing-back Pyry Soiri from Romanian top flight club Universitatea Craiova. Soiri is a regular starter for Finland’s senior national team and won back-to-back Finnish league championships with HJK Helsinki before moving to UEFA Conference League participants Universitatea Craiova in the middle of last season. — Giannis Sardelis: On 13 July, AKFC signed 23-year-old attacker Giannis Sardelis on a free transfer. Sardelis is a former Greece youth international who has passed through the academy of AEK Athens and the reserve team of Panathinaikos. Read more.
— Andrei Moțoc: On 25 July, AKFC signed 22-year-old Moldova youth international Andrei Moțoc from Italian Serie B club Salernitana. Moțoc, a 1.95-meter-tall center-back and defensive midfielder, has made one Serie A appearance with Salernitana and spent last season on loan in Serie C with Legnago Salus under AKFC manager Massimo Donati.. — Nicolas Isimat-Mirin: On 2 August, AKFC signed 32-year-old French center-back Nicolas Isimat-Mirin on a free transfer. Isimat-Mirin is a three-time winner of the Dutch Eredivisie with PSV Eindhoven and also has experience in Ligue 1, the Turkish Süper Lig, and Major League Soccer. He spent last season in the Eredivisie with Vitesse, where he served as team captain. Read more.
— Matěj Hanousek: On 2 August, AKFC signed 31-year-old Czech wing-back MatějHanousek on a free transfer. Hanousek is a veteran of the Czech first division, including three seasons with the country’s biggest club, Sparta Praha, with whom he is a winner of the Czech Cup, before moving on to spend the last three seasons in the top leagues of Poland and Turkey. — Mathieu Valbuena: On 5 August, AKFC signed legendary French attacker Mathieu Valbuena on a free transfer. Valbuena, 39, has won three league championships plus one domestic cup with Olympiacos, one league championship plus three domestic cups with Marseille, made 122 total appearances between the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, and earned 52 caps with the French national team. — Samba Lélé Diba: On 7 August, AKFC signed 20-year-old Senegal international midfielder Samba Lélé Diba from Swiss Super League club Servette FC. Diba, a 1.95-meter-tall defensive midfielder, made 38 appearances for Servette across all competitions over the last two seasons, including seven appearances in UEFA competitions last season. — Alessandro Mercati: On 14 August, AKFC signed 22-year-old Italian midfielder Alessandro Mercati from Serie B club Sassuolo. Mercati has been a highly regarded talent from the Sassuolo academy and has already made 98 career appearances from loan spells in Serie C over the last three seasons. Read more.
— Nemanja Nikolić: On 19 August, AKFC signed 23-year-old former Bosnia youth international wing-back Nemanja Nikolić on a free transfer. Nikolić joined Olympiacos at the age of 19 and spent four seasons at the club, gaining experience from a string of loans and with Olympiacos B, before leaving for Super League 2 club Chania where he was a key player last season. — Mor Ndiaye: On 11 September, AKFC signed 23-year-old Senegalese midfielder Mor Ndiaye from Portuguese Primeira Liga club Estoril Praia. Ndiaye is a product of the FC Porto academy and reserve team and spent the last two seasons with Estoril. Read more.

— Elia Giani: On 9 August, AKFC signed 23-year-old Italian striker Elia Giani on loan from Serie B club Pisa. Giani, a 1.85-meter-tall second striker, is coming off a breakout season with seven goals and nine assists while on loan to Serie C club Legnago Salus under AKFC manager Massimo Donati. Read more.

— Giannis Toulgeroglou: On 1 August, 19-year-old striker Giannis Touleroglou was loaned to Greek third tier club Asteras Voulas until the end of the 2024/25 season. Touleroglou spent the first half of the calendar year on loan with Finnish club KTP, who are currently top of the league in Finland’s second division.
