Preseason 24/25: Atromitos 2-1 Athens Kallithea

In their second friendly match of the 2024/25 preseason, Athens Kallithea FC saw their comeback effort fall short in a 2-1 loss to Atromitos at the Evangelos Pantelidis Training Center in Ptolemaida on Saturday evening.

AKFC started aggressively and produced several early chances, but it was Atromitos who would soon go in front, converting from the penalty spot in the 10th minute.

AKFC continued to throw heaps of pressure at goal, but Atromitos doubled the advantage in the 29th minute. Less than a minute later, AKFC’s efforts were finally rewarded, as Giannis Loukinas pulled one back just before half-time (in a game of two 30-minute halves).

AKFC would continue to control the ball and create chances through the second half, but ultimately could not find an equalizer.
