Paris Babis joins Athens Kallithea FC

Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of midfielder Paris Babis on a free transfer following the mutual termination of his contract with Super League 1 club Lamia. Babis, 23, has signed personal terms through the 2022/23 season.

Born in Athens, Babis came through the academy at AEK Athens, and he would make two first team appearances in the 2018/19 Greek Cup at the age of 19 before going on out on series of loans to second division sides Apollon Pontou, Kalamata, Platanias, and Apollon Larissa.

Last season, Babis made 25 appearances (all starts) for AEK Athens B in Super League 2, and his performances would earn him a transfer to Super League 1 with Lamia in July 2022. In the ongoing 2022/23 season, Babis made five appearances in Super League 1 and two appearances in the Greek Cup before departing Lamia for AKFC.
