Panagiotis Kynigopoulos named League MVP

Athens Kallithea FC attacker Panagiotis Kynigopoulos has earned the honor of Most Valuable Player of the Super League 2 South Group for the 2022/23 season as voted by the league’s players and coaches.

Kynigopoulos, 26, has put in tireless performances on the right wing for AKFC this season, leading the team with 1,961 minutes played and notching eight goals and eight assists with three weeks still remaining in the campaign.

Kynigopoulos joined AKFC in August 2021 and scored nine goals with two assists in the 2021/22 season. In January 2023, Kynigopoulos signed a contract extension through the 2025/26 season, committing his future to the club amid interest from Super League 1 and Europe.
