Giannis Tsivelekidis joins Athens Kallithea FC

The 24-year-old defender Giannis Tsivelekidis, who had reached an agreement with Athens Kallithea FC in September to join the club in January following the expiration of his contract with Estonian top flight club Nõmme Kalju FC, has arrived in Athens and begun training with the team.

Born in Athens, Tsivelekidis came through the academy at AEK Athens FC and spent six months on loan with Kalamata before moving abroad. Tsivelekidis made 97 appearances with 11 goals for Nõmme Kalju over the last three seasons, including 33 appearances with four goals last season.
