Giannis Tsivelekidis to join Athens Kallithea FC

Athens Kallithea FC announce an agreement with center-back Giannis Tsivelekidis, 24, who will join the club upon the expiration of his contract with Estonian top flight club Nõmme Kalju FC on 1 January 2024.

Born in Athens, Tsivelekidis came through the academy at AEK Athens FC and spent six months on loan with Kalamata in Super League 2 season before moving abroad.

After a series of strong performances in the first half of the 2020/21 season with NK Fužinar in Slovenia’s second division, Tsivelekidis earned a transfer to Nõmme Kalju, where he has made 87 total appearances with eight goals and two assists from the 2021 season through the ongoing 2023 season, which ends on 2 December 2023.

Nõmme Kalju are currently in fifth place in Estonia’s Meistriliiga.
