Georgios Krimitzas joins Athens Kallithea FC

Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of defensive midfielder Georgios Krimitzas, 23, on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Neou Keramidiou.

Born in Thessaloniki, Krimitzas came through the academy of Aris and turned professional with Pierikos, making his debut at the age of 19 in November 2021 and going on to make 28 total appearances for the club in the 2021/22 season.

Krimitzas would move on to play for Niki Volou in 2022/23, Eolikos in 2023/24, and most recently Neou Keramidiou, having a particularly strong campaign with the Katerini-based club last season. Playing primarily as a defensive midfielder or deep-lying playmaker, Krimitzas has made 83 career appearances at the Super League 2 level to date.
