Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of right-back Antonis Dentakis, 30, on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Lamia.
Born in Chania, Dentakis came through the academy at Kissamikos and turned professional at Platanias, making his Super League debut with the club in April 2014 at the age of 19.
After returning to Kissamikos on loan and then spending two seasons at local side AEEK, Dentakis moved to Volos and would help the club make two consecutive promotions from Gamma Ethniki to the Super League, and became a regular starter in the top flight in the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons. Dentakis would make 76 appearances for the club in total across four seasons, registering two goals and seven assists.
Dentakis left Volos for Apollon, making 27 appearances in the 2021/22 Super League season, and then joined Levadiakos, suffering a relegation in 2022/23 but helping the club earn promotion back to the Super League in 2023/24.
Last season, Dentakis made 18 appearances for Lamia in the Super League, bringing his career total to 77 appearances in the top flight.
Welcome, Antonis.
