Athens Kallithea FC have presented the club’s new name and visual identity along with 22/23 home and away shirts.
The club’s founding year 1966 and traditional five stars representing the founding merger of the club have been maintained as part of the identity, while the new Athens Kallithea FC crest is a stylized AK monogram with five points that reference the five stars. The club’s traditional blue and white have been updated, and gold has been introduced as a complementary color.
The visual identity was created in collaboration with Munich-based design studio Bureau Borsche, renowned for their work in the realms of art and culture, fashion, sport, and commerce, with clients including the Bavarian State Opera, La Biennale di Venezia, Balenciaga, Supreme, Nike, and Apple.
The 22/23 kit collection, also designed by Bureau Borsche, was produced by Kappa, marking AKFC’s first release in its new partnership with the iconic Turin-based manufacturer.
The home shirt is in a rich blue with white and gold accenting and features a collar with a single-button closure. The away shirt in white has a distinctive single blue vertical stripe with gold accenting and a crew neck.
