Born in Cordoba, Argentina, Marotta played in the first divisions of Bolivia, Peru, and Colombia before joining AKFC in September 2023.
In his debut season with the club, Marotta made 27 total appearances and scored two critical goals — a late winner in a derby with Kalamata in December and the promotion-clinching goal against Chania in May.
