Kosmas Gkezos
Center-Back
Born in Athens, Gkezos came through the academy of Panionios, and made his Super League debut with the club at the age of 19 in April 2012. After two loan stints in the second division with Acharnaikos and Glyfada, followed by another season with Panionios in the Super League, Gkezos moved abroad to Swedish side Akropolis IF, where he would be a regular in defense for three seasons. Thereafter, Gkezos would join Austria Klagenfurt, eventually helping the club earn their first-ever promotion to the Austrian Bundesliga in 2020/21. Gkezos would make 167 total appearances for Klagenfurt with 18 goals and six assists across seven seasons, until joining AKFC in July 2025.
