Diamantis Chouchoumis

Born in Aliveri on the island of Evia, Chouchoumis came through the academy of Panathinaikos and would go on to spend five seasons with the first team, making 59 total appearances across all competitions, including four appearances in the UEFA Europa League, and was a member of the team that won the 2013/14 Greek Cup.
After a two-year stint abroad, during which time he won the Slovakian Cup with Slovan Bratislava in the 2017/18 season, Chouchoumis returned to Greece and played seven consecutive seasons in the Super League — two seasons with Apollon Smyrnis, two seasons at Panetolikos, two seasons at Asteras Tripolis, and one season at Kifisia, making 137 total Super League appearances over that span — before joining AKFC in July 2026.
