Zacharias Venakis joins Athens Kallithea FC

Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of defender Zacharias Venakis, 18, on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Cypriot side Ethnikos Latsia.

Born in Rethymno, Venakis came through the academy of Panathinaikos, before leaving Greece to gain his first professional experience, signing with Ethnikos Latsia in July 2025 and going on to make 18 appearances (14 starts) in the Cypriot second tier in the 2025/26 season.

Venakis is a 1.87-meter-tall left-footed central defender.
