Vasilis Kontonikos joins Athens Kallithea FC

Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of winger Vasilis Kontonikos, 20, on loan from AEK.

Born in Lamia, Kontonikos came through the academy at PAS Lamia and broke into the first team in 2023/24, making eight appearances with one goal over the final three months of the season, which would earn him a move to AEK in July 2024.

In his first season at AEK, Kontonikos registered three goals and two assists in 12 appearances with AEK B. Last season, Kontonikos gained further experience on loan to PAS Giannina, scoring two goals with two assists in 20 matches.

At international level, Kontonikos represented Greece at the Under-19 level, earning 10 caps with two goals.
