Theodoros Tsirigotis joins Athens Kallithea FC

Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of striker Theodoros Tsirigotis, 26, from Polish Ekstraklasa side Górnik Zabrze.

Tsirigotis, who passed through Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, and Levadiakos early into his career, had exploded for 22 goals with Iraklis in the 2024/25 season before earning his move to Poland, and he now returns to Greece with AKFC on a two-year contract with an option for a third year. At the Super League 2 level, he has won a promotion with Levadiakos and scored 50 goals in 99 matches in total.

Born in Zakynthos, Tsirigotis came through the academy at Olympiacos, and was immediately a prolific scorer upon commencing his career in men’s football with Diagoras Vrachneika, Episkopi, and Panathinaikos B.

Tsirigotis would make his debut in the Super League with Levadiakos in August 2022 at age 22, making 12 appearances in total in the top flight in the first half of the 2022/23 season. After a successful six-month loan with Larissa, scoring seven goals with two assists in 12 matches, Tsirigotis returned to Levadiakos following their relegation and helped the club earn promotion back to the Super League in the 2023/24 season, scoring eight goals in 15 league appearances.

In the 2024/25 season, Tsirigotis signed with Iraklis and scored 22 goals with two assists in 27 matches, including seven goals in seven matches in the promotion playoffs, compelling Górnik Zabrze to acquire him in summer 2025.

Tsirigotis would make six appearances with one assist in the Ekstraklasa in the first half of the 2025/26 season, before going out on loan while a highly competitive Górnik Zabrze went on to finish second in the league and win the Polish Cup. Between March and August 2026, Tsirigotis was on loan to Finnish top flight club TPS, scoring three goals with one assist in eight league matches.

Welcome, Theodoros.
