Symeon Papadopoulos joins Athens Kallithea FC

Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of goalkeeper Symeon Papadopoulos, 25, on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Super League club Volos.

Born in Thessaloniki, Papadopoulos came through the academies of Iraklis and PAOK before joining Volos, where he would make his professional debut in May 2021. The following season, Papadopoulos made seven Super League starts, with his first career win coming away to AEK in January 2022, and earning four wins and two draws with just one loss overall.

While mostly serving as a back-up, Papadopoulos made 15 Super League starts in total over the last five seasons, conceding 19 goals with three clean sheets.
