Rodrigo López joins Athens Kallithea FC

Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of Paraguayan winger Rodrigo López, 24, following the expiration of his contract with Chania.

Born in Santa Rita, López began his career at Club Libertad, one of Paraguay’s biggest clubs, having won 26 national championships. In August 2025, López went on loan to Bolivian Primera División side San Antonio Bulo Bulo, making 23 total appearances for the club with two goals and four assists, before arriving in Greece.

In February 2026, López joined Chania and would impress over the final three months of the 2025/26 season, making 10 appearances with one assist.

Welcome, Rodrigo.
