Mathieu Valbuena suffers Grade I strain

AKFC attacking midfielder Mathieu Valbuena has a Grade I right hamstring strain that was sustained during training. He is expected to miss approximately two weeks.

The injury was diagnosed by Dr. Christos Theos, Director of the Orthopedic Clinic, along with Dr. Nikolaos Pikoulis, the team’s physician, at the Metropolitan Hospital in Athens.

The 40-year-old Valbuena has three goals and four assists in 24 appearances (16 starts) this season.
