Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of Serbian left-back Marko Jevremović on a free transfer.
Jevremović, 27, has earned one cap for the Serbian national team and has experience in the top divisions of Serbia, Cyprus, and Bosnia.
Born in Belgrade, Jevremović passed through the academies of local sides FK Rad and FK Brodarac and began playing first-team football with Radnički Obrenovac in the third tier before earning a move to the Serbian SuperLiga with Mladost Lučani, making his top flight debut with the club in September 2018.
In July 2019, Jevremović signed with SuperLiga club FK Javor Ivanjica, immediately becoming an important figure in the team, making 63 league starts over the next two seasons. After the club suffered relegation in 2020/21, Jevremović stayed on and helped Javor win promotion directly back to the SuperLiga.
Last season, Jevremović left Serbia for Cyprus, and would make 36 appearances in the Cypriot First Division for Enosis Neon Paralimni FC. In the first half of this season, Jevremović made seven league appearances in Bosnia’s top division with Zvijezda 09 before resolving his contract and becoming a free agent.
In international football, Jevremović has made one appearance for Serbia's senior national team, coming three years ago in a friendly match against Panama in January 2021.
Jevremović joins AKFC on a contract through the end of the 2023/24 season.
Welcome, Marko.
