Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of right-back Konstantinos Provydakis, 30, following the expiration of his contract with Ellas Syrou.
Born in Heraklion, Provydakis began his career with local side Irodotos, and would help the club win promotion to Super League 2 in the 2017/18 season after a 36-year absence from the second tier. From there, Provydakis would move across town to Ergotelis and then make the step up to the Super League with Lamia, where he would make 56 appearances with two goals and one assist over two-and-a-half seasons.
In the middle of the 2022/23 season, Provydakis would join Kifisia and help the club win promotion to the Super League for the first time in club history, making 14 appearances during the campaign.
Provydakis moved to the Cypriot First Division with Doxa in the middle of the 2023/24 season, making 21 appearances for the club. Upon returning to Greece, Provydakis has been one of the most productive right-backs over the last two seasons — making 24 appearances with two goals and three assists for Chania in 2024/25 and making 24 appearances with two goals and four assists for Ellas Syrou in 2025/26.
Welcome, Konstantinos.
