Josua Mejías undergoes successful surgery on right forearm

AKFC defender Josua Mejías has successfully undergone surgery on a broken right forearm, an injury suffered in Sunday’s win over Ionikos.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Christos Theos at the Metropolitan Hospital in Athens.

Mejías is expected to miss approximately five weeks.

The 25-year-old Venezuelan has made 18 starts to date in the 2023/24 season.
