Gonzalo Torres joins Athens Kallithea FC

Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of Argentinian attacker Gonzalo Torres on loan from Primera División club Lanús pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

Born in Buenos Aires, the talented 24-year-old made his debut for Lanús against Boca Juniors in November 2020, and went on to make six total first team appearances for the club before going on loan to Defensores de Belgrano and Central Córdoba.

Torres, typically playing as a winger or second striker, made 37 total appearances (15 starts) with three goals for Central Córdoba over the last two seasons.

AKFC have loaned Torres until 30 June 2024 with an option for a permanent transfer.
