Georgios Doumtsis extends contract

Athens Kallithea FC are pleased to announce that former Greek youth international attacker Georgios Doumtsis has signed a contract extension through the 2024/25 season.

Doumtsis, 22, arrived in August 2021 and scored two goals in the first four rounds of the 2021/22 season before suffering an ACL injury and being lost for the rest of the year.

Born in Florina, Doumtsis came through the academy at PAOK, and he went on to spend one season at PAS Giannina, making six Super League 1 appearances in the 2020/21 season, before joining AKFC.

At international level, Doumtsis earned three caps with the Under-19 national team, coming under manager Giannis Goumas in qualification for the 2019 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
