François-Régis Mughe joins Athens Kallithea FC

Athens Kallithea FC announce the acquisition of 20-year-old Cameroon youth international winger François-Régis Mughe on loan from Olympique de Marseille through the end of the 2024/25 season.

Born in Douala, Mughe came through the academy of Ecole de Football Brasseries du Cameroun, before joining Marseille at the age of 18 in June 2022. He would make two first team appearances in the 2022/23 season — his professional debut in the quarterfinals of the Coupe de France in which he scored a 90th minute equalizer and his Ligue 1 debut on the final day of the season.

Last season, Mughe made five more Ligue 1 appearances plus one UEFA Champions League appearance against Panathinaikos and one Europa League appearance against Ajax. He spent the second half of the season on loan at Dunkerque in Ligue 2.

In international play, Mughe has represented Cameroon at the Under-23 level, and has also been called into the senior team without making an appearance.
