Constantine Edlund, Giannis Toulgeroglou on loan to KTP

Athens Kallithea FC announce the loans of Greek-American midfielder Constantine Edlund and Greek striker Giannis Toulgeroglou to Finnish second division club KTP until the end of the 2024 season.

Edlund, 19, signed a professional contract with AKFC in January 2023 after passing through the academy of MLS club Chicago Fire and has been training exclusively with the first team.

Toulgeroglou, 18, joined the AKFC academy in June 2022 and has just signed his first professional contract with the club ahead of his loan move. Born in Athens, Toulgeroglou was trained in the academy of Olympiacos (Under-10 through Under-16) and spent one year with Ionikos before coming to AKFC.

KTP were in Finland’s top division last season, and AKFC right-back Georgios Manthatis had a successful loan stint with the club through the first half of the season. After Manthatis’ departure, KTP were relegated and are now looking to earn promotion back to the top flight this season.

Good luck, Constantine and Giannis.
