Bernabé Barragán undergoes successful ACL reconstruction surgery

AKFC goalkeeper Bernabé Barragán has successfully undergone surgery to repair a torn ACL and meniscus, an injury sustained in the match against Aris on 2 February.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Christos Theos, Director of the Orthopedic Clinic, along with Dr. Nikolaos Pikoulis, the team’s physician, at the Metropolitan Hospital in Athens.

Barragán is expected to miss approximately six to eight months.
