Athens Kallithea FC part ways with Massimo Donati

Athens Kallithea FC announce that Massimo Donati has been relieved of his duties as first team manager.

AKFC club statement:

“This is a painful decision for the club to make. Massimo is a talented manager and there is no question he has endured some unfortunate events on the field. There is a consensus that we deserve to be higher in the table from our overall body of work. With some better fortune and the luxury of more time, Massimo could have been successful here. Nevertheless, the reality is that, we haven’t managed to get results, and sometimes that requires a refresh, which we felt was needed now. We would like to thank Massimo for his passion and hard work and we wish him future success, which we are confident he will achieve.”
