Athens Kallithea FC part ways with manager Leonidas Vokolos

Athens Kallithea FC announce that Leonidas Vokolos has been relieved of his duties as first team manager.

Vokolos joined AKFC in August 2021 and guided the team to a second place finish in the 2021/22 Super League 2 season. In the current season, AKFC have advanced to the Round of 16 of the Greek Cup and have earned six points from two wins and one loss through their first three Super League 2 matches.

AKFC club statement:

“This is a difficult decision for us to take. Since we began this project 16 months ago, Leonidas has played an important role in our progress, and we consider his work to be foundational in any future success of the club. As a result of everything he has done, our next manager will have the benefit of taking the baton from a good position. With great respect, we thank Leonidas for his contributions.”
