Athens Kallithea FC appoint Marko Markovski as technical director and team manager

Athens Kallithea FC announce the appointment of Marko Markovski as technical director and team manager.

Markovski, 40, spent the last three seasons working as team manager at Panetolikos in the Super League, since retiring from his playing career in 2023.

Born in Belgrade, Markovski began his career at Zemun and Partizan, before arriving in Greece to play for Kallithea at the age of 22 in January 2008. Over the next 16 years, Markovski would go on to make 177 appearances with 38 goals in the Super League and 175 appearances with 68 goals in Super League 2 with Kallithea, Doxa Drama, Xanthi, Kerkyra, Panetolikos, Levadiakos, Apollon Smyrnis, and Kalamata. He took a spell away from Greece between 2013 and 2014, during which time he won the Moldovan championship with Sheriff.

While serving at Panetolikos, Markovski also obtained a UEFA B coaching license.

Beginning at Athens Kallithea FC from 1 July 2026, Markovski steps into the technical director role last held by Michaël Pereira until June 2025 and the team manager role held by Georgios Alexopoulos until June 2026.
