AKFC loanee Constantine Edlund wins promotion with KTP

AKFC loanee Constantine Edlund and KTP have clinched promotion to the Veikkausliiga, Finland’s top division, in the penultimate round of the season, with the 20-year-old Greek-American midfielder having made 14 appearances (two starts) with one goal and one assist during the campaign.

Edlund, a product of the Chicago Fire academy, signed a profession contract with AKFC in January 2023 and joined KTP on loan in January 2024 through the end of the 2024 season.
