Abdul Rahman Weiss called up to Syria national team

Abdul Rahman Weiss, 24, has been called up by the Syria men’s national team for friendly matches against the UAE and Bahrain during the 20-28 March 2023 window of the 2020-2024 FIFA men’s international match calendar.

Weiss has earned five caps with Syria’s senior team, including four appearances in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, after representing Greece at the Under-21 level.

Weiss joined AKFC from Super League 1 side Volos in January 2023 and has since made three league appearances for the club.
